2026 Grants

The Tullahoma Foundation for Excellence in Education awarded
$72,739 to the Tullahoma City School System in 2026. 

The approved projects will impact all levels of our learners
from LIttlest Cats to our High School Wildcats. 
Brief descriptions of this year’s projects are below.

Tonie Boxes

Farrar Elementary Kindergarten Classes

Screen-free audio players designed for educational content, storytelling, and songs.  Boxes can be used for small group settings, and are also compatible with headphones for independent use or with others through an audio splitter.

Clevertouch Pro Interactive Display

THS Mathematics

Built-in software connects display with up to 50 student Chromebooks, allowing direct screen mirroring from or to teacher or student devices.

Next Generation Nursing Manikins

THS Health Science Program

Vital for pathway students enrolled in the Patient Care Technician licensure course.  Provides advanced features necessary to simulate the full scope of care skills required by the curriculum.


STEM Program Race Simulator

THS Science/STEM

Provides students a hands-on, engaging way to apply concepts like motion, force, engineering design, and data analysis in a real-world context. Students will text ideas, collect data, and improve performance through trial and error.

US Space & Rocket Center Field Trip

REL 4th Grade

Provides an immersive, academic experience in a STEM environment that aligns with National Technology Standards and Tennessee Curriculum standards.

Math Mats

Farrar Elementary

Strengthens foundational math skills while increasing student confidence and expanding meaningful family engagement. Through interactive movement-based math activities, students and their families will experience math as active, collaborative, and enjoyable.


Outdoor Science Deck

Farrar Science

Revitalize outdoor classroom that will be used to enhance science instruction and provide hands-on learning experiences.

Barber Program Supplies

THS Cosmetology

Hands-on integration of barbering skills which will allow students to practice advanced techniques that are directly transferrable to high-demand careers.

Job Ready Work-Based Learning

THS Work-Based Learning Program

Digital platform that allows for compliance and coordination by digitalizing documents and tasks performed by the students. A mobile app will be used to log hours and complete digital documentation.

Playground

LIttle Cats Learning Academy

Installation of a safe and developmentally appropriate outdoor play space designed for children ages 6-23 months and expanding existing preschool playground swing bay.
